Community Cake

Linlithgow’s first Community Cake event

Sunday 17th September, 7pm, The Old Pavilion

Following on from our Community Group consultation, and feedback received from the Celebration of Volunteering event in June, we’ve created this opportunity for Community and Voluntary Groups to come together to share ideas and collaborate.
The events will be run bi-monthly, focusing on a different theme each time. Our first theme is Recruiting Volunteers.
It is a relaxed evening, with drinks and cake provided. The event is free, and open to anyone who represents a local Community Group or Voluntary Organisation. I have attached the flyer for information.
To start, representatives from each group are invited to share (approx 2 mins);
  • What does their group do/what are the working on?
  • What have they achieved?
  • Does the group have any challenges?
  • What is their top tip for recruiting volunteers?
Following on from this will be a speaker on the topic, then an opportunity to further discuss while enjoying the refreshments available.
To register your attendance, please RSVP to rebecca@trust-linlithgow.org.uk. RSVP is essential to ensure we have enough space… And of course, enough cake!
If you’d like to discuss further, or have any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
We look forward to seeing you there!
