Linlithgow Community Development Trust is developing the Linlithgow Solar Collective, a new solar social enterprise around renewable energy in partnership with Linlithgow Rugby Club and the community.
The key objective long term is to install more Solar PV systems in and around town and create a community benefit fund to reinvest back into the community. This will also help make Linlithgow more sustainable in energy and reduce our total carbon footprint. The project was inspired by the great groundwork of Transition Linlithgow and its volunteers over the years.
We are starting with a pilot project and Solar PV installation to be located at the Rugby Club training facility. See flyer here: Linlithgow Solar Collective – Flyer
Fundraising for the pilot project is well underway and a Lender’s Brochure is available on request.

INVOLVING YOUNG PEOPLE
We are very keen to hear from young people, including high school pupils, college and university students, who would like to be involved in learning more about or indeed developing the solar social enterprise project hands-on.
This could be a great opportunity for a budding social entrepreneur(s) and we can provide some mentoring too.
Please contact Neil above if you’d like to discuss further.
