The newly launched Linlithgow Repair Shop gives you the chance to bring in an item in need of repair (e.g. small electricals, tools, toys or furniture) and get them repaired by a skilled and friendly volunteer. By choosing to repair over replacing your item you can save money, reduce waste and prevent the carbon emissions associated with the production of new items.
Aside from consumables and parts (chargeable at cost), payment for the repair of your items is by donation only. We suggest a minimum donation of £5 for a small repair and £10 for larger repairs, to help cover our power, light and venue costs. While you’re in the Hub you can take a look at some of our other fantastic projects!
See below for a selection of items we’ve repaired so far, but we’re happy to take a look at most things*! If we can’t repair your item we can work with you to find a sustainable way to move forward, which might include finding a professional repairer, upcycling, donating or recycling.

If you need a repair, please email us at repair@trust-linlithgow.org.uk with details and (if possible) photographs of the item and we’ll let you know how we can help!
*There are a couple of items we sadly cannot consider for repair – microwaves, anything containing asbestos, any gas powered or petrol-powered items and anything too large to be carried in to the café. We are unable to carry out any repairs at your property.
