Re:Fab!

For those who like to sew, knit, crochet, and generally be creative with all sorts of textiles, our Re:Fab! sessions are being held on the first Saturday of each month.  The focus is on having fun with old clothes and textiles, or using up scraps of fabric and yarn. The sessions are for age 16+ and aren’t a teaching class, so not for beginners – people should ideally have some experience. But helping each other and sharing skills and ideas will be a big part of the group.  Repurposing textiles, crafts, and completing other projects of your choice is what Re:Fab! Is all about.

The idea is that people should bring along their own ‘project’, using materials they already have, whether that’s scraps, repairing or refashioning an old garment, or maybe making something completely different! The opportunities are endless.

There are two sessions (10am – 12.30pm and 1.30pm – 4pm) to be held on the first Saturday of every month.

People can attend the whole day or only one session with a suggested donation of only £5 per session (£10 per day).
